In this example, Dr. Sanusi Umar uses beard, nape and head hair by with his Single Follicle Extraction and Transfer (SFET) method to restore and refine a poor hair transplant result that the patient had received from another clinic. Dr. Umar uses non head hair (facial, body) as donor resources for patients that have a relative or absolute lack of traditional donor sources (back of the head). The use of body hair for transplantation is called body hair transplantation (BHT). The technique by which Dr. Umar performs BHT is called SFET. This is his more advanced version of the procedure commonly referred to as Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE).
