Does Acell work For hair regrowth ?
Does Acell work For hair growth ? Acell is a product intended to enhance wound healing results for various types of surgery. It is bioengineered from pig bladder tissue. Muscles and other components are removed to leave a matrix of collagen and protein along with an epithelial layer. This creates a scaffold for new tissue to grow.

The product has enabled remarkable improvements in surgical healing. Examples of these areas include: veterinary medicine, reconstructive operations and gynecology.

So does Acell work For hair growth ?

Although it is regarded as an agent for tissue regeneration, Acell’s effectiveness for hair restoration purposes has not been substantiated by research. Proponents claim that Acell is able to utilize bulb cells from the base of the shaft (not the actual follicle) to regenerate new follicles as a form of hair multiplication and improve the yield from hair transplant procedures.  Acell is also said to improve the quality of wound healing in the donor and recipient areas.

Patients who are considering new forms of treatment innovation need to look for evidence of convincing results.

However, no doctor has been able to replicate these results.  Dr. Umar has also tried using Acell in his surgeries but did not observe any improvements in wound healing or hair growth yield.
