Q. My natural hair is smooth. So why are my grafts producing frizzy hair?
Many people experience the growth of hair with different texture following their transplant procedure. For example a person with smooth hair may notice frizzy hair. Your hair follicles are getting used to their new location. And they contain cells which have become dormant. What ends up happening is that partial hair shafts are being manufactured. After about two or three hair cycles, the texture of your hair will start to look more normal. This will start to occur after about ten to fourteen months after a hair restoration surgery. In some cases, it can take up to two years for hair texture to return to its usual appearance.
