Fortunately though, the patient still had enough donor hair grafts on his scalp.  Using the hair transplant technique known as Follicular Unit Extraction, Dr. Umar extracted 2,500 grafts of head and nape hair to recreate a flattering hairline and temples for the patient. Since nape hair grafts are very thin and fine, these follicles were inserted along the outer edge of the hairline to produce a natural and soft effect.
